Account & Data Deletion (Viben)
Viben lets you request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app (recommended)
Open Viben.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion.
After confirmation, your account deletion request is submitted and your data will be deleted as described below.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email us at support@viben.in from the email address linked to your Viben account with the subject line “Delete my account”.
In the email, include:
Your account email (the one you use to sign in)
(Optional) Your name
(Optional) Any additional details that help us locate your account (for example, screenshots of the profile page)
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the request.
What will be deleted
When you request deletion, we delete:
Your Viben account/profile
Your uploaded wardrobe items and images
Your saved outfits, recommendations, and fit checks
Other app data associated with your account stored on our servers
What may be retained
We may retain limited data only when required for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as:
Fraud prevention, security, and abuse monitoring
Legal or regulatory compliance
If we retain any data for these purposes, we restrict access and keep it only for as long as necessary.
Deletion timeframe
We typically complete deletion within 30 days of verifying the request. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period and will be removed as backups are rotated.
